Gaming fun at Lian's house

Ain't really in a good mood but frankly, I had fun at Lian's house but my dad pulled my mood all the way down, I dun blame him for his decision as I know he's doing it for the sake of me but I ain't happy about it either. But anyway, I'll talk about today, met Lian at Sun Plaza's arcade and we played one round of Drummania and headed to FairPrice to buy hotdogs as Lian was gonna cook breakfast for both of us. So I took some photos of the breakfast we had, you can view it in my Random Stuffs 2 album on Facebook, it was scrambled egg with 10 hotdogs. After that headed to his room and I started playing DOD:S for a while till I decided to use his laptop. Well, I used for 8 hours but then for this 8 hours, I have been searching stuffs related to Toradora. I'm starting to have no life but I dun really care. So then I decided to stumble upon ebay to take a look on whether the Toradora! collectibles and posters have been updated, and they did, adding a few cheaper but better posters into the catalogs. There was a set which caught my eyes, it was cheap to me but not to my dad I guess. $15 for 2 rare posters and free shipping is a hard chance to come by. Lian's sis bought lunch for us, Mac's double cheeseburgers. So I had lots of fun with Lian till my dad called by evening, I asked him about the posters and he didn't consider and just went by with a no. He said it'd be a waste of money and after pasting, I'll forget about the anime and that I have 2 posters on the wall. I told him it was such a rare chance and how cheap it is as I got my Band of Brothers poster for $10 and this time each Toradora! poster is only $7.50 but he still didn't consider. So I just acted that I'm alright and talked normally to him till he put down the phone, that call just depleted all my emotions at that moment, I do not know why but someone cannot stop me from loving an anime too much till I wanna buy their merchandise. It's also just a poster, the cheapest thing in the anime merchandise category. Dinner time came, Lian's mum bought for us duck rice but I didn't have the appetite either so I ate extremely slowly and Lian finished pretty quick. Lian tried many ways to cheer me up but failed, in the end, he decided not to let me out of his house until I finish the dinner which was a good move to not make me waste food. In the end, I still couldn't finish but then he decided to play blackjack with me and the loser for each round shall eat one spoon of the rice, I lost around 2 rounds while Lian lost most of it. We decided to continue playing after we finished the rice. So then I left with a pretty decent mood, Lian and his mum sent me to Sembawang's MRT station and I headed back to J8 after that. I decided to head to Comic's Connection to buy the Shakugan no Shana II poster I saw the other day but it was only for showing, the real stock has ran out, so I bought a poster of Haruhi Suzumiya being extremely cute instead. After that, I headed home and bathed. My parents could see me in a pretty bad mood and my dad already knew why but my mum didn't so I explained. While I was putting on the double sided tape on the back of the poster, my father came beside me and put $15 on the table, I'll quote what he said. 'Here's $15, but it's not for you to buy the posters, it's for you to save up for Modern Warfare 2. As time goes by, you'll get more money from other people. For example, you can get another $15 from mummy and money from ah yi ma then slowly you can get the money to buy Modern Warfare 2. Let me tell you, you can at least play Modern Warfare 2 for the rest of your life but if you buy some stupid posters and stick it on the wall, you'll forget about them and will be wasting you money.' Hell, that sentence made my mood worser and for the whole night, I didn't laugh or even the least bit smiled. I rejected the money and asked my father to keep it for himself, from then on he knew I wasn't in a good mood so he didn't try to joke around with me. Anyway, I've been typing so much, you guys are surely gonna get bored so I'll stop here.
