BAND OF BROTHERS

Ok, so basically, I wanna review on my all time favourite World War II series named 'Band of Brothers'. It's an 10-part (10 hours) mini-series produced by Steven Spielberg and Tom Hanks. I watched this with my father when I was as young as around 6, of course I couldn't understand a least bit of the story. When I watched it again last year, I only kept skipping to the battle scenes as I thought that was all that war movies/series were good for. But this year, as I watched through every chapter, I started to find the true meanings in this series. It was all about the true happenings and stories of the 101st Airborne men of Easy Company, from the D-Day in Normandy to the failed operation of 'Operation Market Garden' to the Eagle Nest where Hitler stands. What I like about one of the chapters in this series is that hardly any war movie/series explained about the hardship of medics, and in one of the episodes, 1 hour of it was about one medic saving one life after another despite they were low on supplies in an cold forest of 'Bastogne, Belgium'. The realism of this series is also great, how soldiers miss their homes and stuffs. It's my favourite series up to date, it shows the bonding between soldiers when they treat each other like true brothers. There is an next series by the same directors named 'The Pacific' which explains the war which happened in the pacific during World War II
