REVIEW-IA Episode 8
Game: Grandia III
Platform: PS2
Publisher: Square Enix

Square Enix is a famous company for some of their famous and awesome games like Kingdom Hearts 1 and 2, till now, it's still producing games such as to continue its franchise of good RPG games like Final Fantasy. In this episode, we shall take a look into Grandia III and review everything about it.
GAMEPLAY
Let's take a look at the gameplay for Grandia III, it's not your normal turned based RPGs. It won't be like 'Ok it's your turn, go and hit that little bastard. Ok done, I'm gonna wait for you to come back. You're back! It's my turn woo!', nope, you won't see stuffs like that happening in Grandia III. Although it is a turn based game, things can be happening all around while another character's turn is going on. Some magic can only be summonned while everyone is fighting up, it's really awesome. Every character have different equips to be equipped with, like there'll be only one armour type for one character and one weapon type for one character, it saves all the trouble for figuring and comparing the stats of a equipment and to choose who to wear it, this usually happens in other games but not on this one. Each character also have special moves and magic skills for themselves, which is also pretty awesome. There's a wide range of characters to choose from as you play the game and travel deeper and deeper into it.
GRAPHICS
The graphics have been improved and got better from the previous games in the Grandia series. But players would usually encounter lagging problems from some of the fighting styles and that can get frustrating sometimes for some players, but this ain't gonna stop the game from being thrashed and rated low.
SOUNDS
The music is not bad if you ask me, usually RPG game have good music but it gets boring sometimes after listening to them repeatdly. Some of the character voices are nice too, like Alfina's voice is pretty cute most of the time and Yuki's voice sounds very mature. Overall, this game wouldn't really score bad on this category
DIFFICULTY
Lastly, how hard is the game. It's quite easy when the strategy adviser is on and will give you tips on what attacks to use on which enemies. But this game can get hard at times and require your brain to think quick and plan out a strategy on what will the enemy do and what will you do to withstand or repel its attack.
RATING:
GAMEPLAY - 4.8/5
GRAPHICS - 4.0/5
SOUNDS - 4.2/5
